Gaudí: Balance Architectural Genius and Mosaic Mastery
From acclaimed designer Dani Garcia (Barcelona, Windmill Valley, Daitoshi, Arborea) comes Gaudí, a rich, visually stunning tribute to Catalonia’s visionary master of Art Nouveau and modernism.
In Gaudí, players step into 19th-century Barcelona to shape architectural history across three distinct creative pillars: Nature, Catalonia, and Religion.
- The Balance Twist: You cannot simply specialize in one area. Your final score is determined strictly by your two lowest pillar scores. To win, your architectural legacy must remain completely harmonious.
- Trencadís Tile Placement: Collect and arrange authentic trencadís tiles, the iconic Catalan mosaic technique of assembling “a lot of little broken things”, to decorate personal player boards and build up towering chimneys.
- The Chandelier Action Circuit: Over three tactical rounds, navigate around a central Chandelier board to draft cards, gather resources, and time your moves before the circuit closes.
If you appreciate heavy strategy, gorgeous components, and the tactile joy of mosaic crafting, Gaudí is a centerpiece title for your collection.
Melodies: Harmonize, Jam, and Tour the World Together
- MSRP: $26.99 | Players: 2–5 | Playtime: 30 Mins | Ages: 10+
Grab your instruments and tune your ears. Melodies is a collaborative musical card game created by Thomas Dagenais-Lespérance. You and your fellow bandmates work as a team to complete songs and keep your concert tour rolling.
- Collaborative Jamming: Players take turns playing adjacent note cards from their hands (or passing) in any order they choose. Once the round wraps, whichever note was played the most sets the Melody and establishes the tempo for the track.
- Unlockable Tour Campaign: Packed inside the box are 11 progressive Venue packs. As your band tours through increasingly challenging gigs, you’ll unlock fresh songs, new instruments, guest audience members, and tour posters.
It’s fast-playing, intuitive, and delivers the satisfaction of a band in perfect sync.
Harmonies: Crescendo: Take Your Ecosystem to New Heights
- MSRP: $19.99 | Players: 1–4 | Playtime: 30 Mins | Ages: 10+
Last year’s breakout hit Harmonies returns with its first major modular expansion, Harmonies: Crescendo, designed by Johan Benvenuto and Mathieu Rivera. Designed to blend seamlessly with the base game (and fully compatible with Harmonies Pulse), Crescendo introduces three modular expansions that deepen the nature-crafting puzzle:
- The Sanctuaries Module: Stack your terrain up to 4 tokens high to create dramatic, three-dimensional sanctuaries that attract majestic wildlife and maximize scoring.
- The Whispers Module: Shines a spotlight on nature’s subtle treasures. Using 10 new cards and 20 wooden cubes, players weave corals, mushrooms, mineral ores, and wild blooms into clever scoring synergies alongside larger animal species.
- New Environment Boards: Double-sided personal player boards featuring altered terrain layouts and fresh scoring requirements to keep seasoned players on their toes.
The Happiest Cat in the World: The Ultimate Feline Paradise
- MSRP: $29.99 | Players: 1–4 | Playtime: 30 Mins | Ages: 8+
If you’ve ever spent hard-earned money on a plush cat bed only to have your feline sit inside the shipping box, The Happiest Cat in the World is made for you. Designed by Olivier Cipière and Oussama Khelifati with whimsical art by Bartłomiej Kordowski, this cozy tile-laying game tasks players with turning a humble apartment into a feline dream home.
- 80 Amenity Tiles: Draft and place scratching posts, cozy hammocks, wall shelves, sneaky toy mice, and snack bowls across your cross-shaped apartment board.
- Neighborly Rivalry: Fulfill your cat’s specific desires and draft key scoring goal tiles before your neighbors can. The player who curates the coziest environment earns their pet’s eternal happiness, or at least their grudging approval!
- Whimsical Table Presence: Includes custom wooden cat and mouse tokens, multi-tiered tiles, and end-game bonus challenges.
It’s an accessible, heartwarming game night pick for families, couples, and devoted pet lovers alike.
Citadels Duel: Outscheme Your Rival in Head-to-Head Intrigue
- MSRP: $29.99 | Players: 2 | Playtime: 30 Mins | Ages: 14+
Bruno Faidutti’s iconic city-building classic gets a dedicated head-to-head overhaul in Citadels Duel, co-designed with Guillaume Montiage and Manuel Rozoy. Tailored exclusively for two players, this streamlined duel distills the bluffing, character drafting, and tactical maneuvering of the original into a razor-sharp, 30-minute confrontation.
- Sway the Council: Take seats on the council board and enlist 9 distinct character cards, unleashing unique character abilities to manipulate gold, disrupt your opponent’s timing, and claim key building rights.
- Rapid City Construction: Draft districts, deploy specialized building stands, and adapt your layout round by round.
- Mind-Game Mastery: Because you’re focused entirely on a single rival, deducing their character picks and countering their city layout creates endless tension from opening turn to final tally.
If you love two-player card battlers and tactical bluffing, Citadels Duel deserves an immediate spot on your game shelf.
